Weekly notes 3rd April   03/04/2017

St Monica’s GAA club weekly notes:

Thank you to everyone who helped out last Saturday with the hosting of AIG Dublin Feile in the club. Well done to the girls and their management team for representing the club with distinction throughout Feile they gave two fine performances and were unlucky not to progress to the knock-out stages of the competition. Big thank you to Ali’s Lido for sponsoring the girls Feile tops.

Everyone in St Monica’s would like to wish Leah Doyle a quick and speedy recovery from the fractured arm injury she picked up during Feile. Our sincere sympathies go to Kerri and Karol Stout on the passing of Phyllis (RIP) on Saturday morning. Although her Grandmother had just passed Kerri still came along to the pitch and competed in Feile as her Nana loved her playing Gaelic football, one brave girl.

This week our attention turns to boys Feile as our lads compete out in Howth versus, Beann Eadair (10.30am) and versus Ballyboden St Endas C (13.00pm). Wishing all the lads and their management team all the very best of luck in Feile. Once again we would like to thank Marks Barbers for sponsoring the tops for the boys in Feile your support of St Monica’s GAA club is greatly appreciated by us all.
